I was frustrated at first, thinking it was a weird no-jump adventure game. But after seeing it more as a puzzle, I took it as a challenge. I'm old-school so I printed out some large graph paper and made a map with a colored pencils! How is this even winnable without a map? I was so lost; not to mention the parts of the map which couldn't logically exist where they do. With my map it all came together and I found the Ruby! But knew there were areas on the map where I hadn't been, so after a long exploration I finally found all the coins, crabs, four-symbols, and circle-things. I was "Almost There" but ended up here... lol wut? I had to read the thread with the spoiler for it to be "A Pleasure." Really creative and challenging game! You rock! :)

Thank you very much for playing and for your words, I really appreciate it!

Really great game! Sadly I'm stuck with 24/25 coins (found the legendary treasure, trying to find the last coin and the real treasure) and can't seem to find a way to access any currently unexplored areas. Any clue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, I am very glad you like the game! I am not sure how can I help you since I don't know which is the coin you are missing. And I don't feel like writing spoilers in my own game's page :)

But I can tell this: probably you already know, but there is a secret room with counters that inform you how many coins are left in each area. Good luck!

I assume my problem has to do with the following two rooms:

I can't reach the switch, as the conveyor blocks the way (assuming these areas do connect). I guess those conveyors might dissappear somehow, otherwise the spikes underneath would be pointless (no pun intended), but I just can't figure it out.

Ah, I had the feeling it was that one. Ok, I didn't want to spoil, but anyway... ;)

The floor beneath the first conveyor on the top left is accessible. You need to fall from the conveyor and then quickly turn left. This way you can land on that floor and reach the room. Perhaps I need to make this part more evident somehow. The spikes were supposed to be a clue: you can touch them and die.

Thanks a lot! I wouldn't have thought of this possibility.

Now I was able to finish the game and I can only say, I really enjoyed it! Great aesthetics, great gameplay, great challenges. Definitely worth your time.

P.S.: Maybe just add a conveyor anywhere else as close to the floor as it is here, so the player will automatically walk by and might remember it, when struggling here.

Wow, thank you for your words! Really appreciated.

And good idea: i just released a new version including a new small conveyor section over the floor in another room. Let's see if that helps other players.

Good game, but sure would be ncie to have ANY sort of map.

I made it to the third layer and back but it is so easy to forget where what was, where the doors were and what coin count they required, etc.

Thank you for your feedback! I am glad you gave it a try.

The absence of a map is intentional. I understand that it is not something everyone will like, but I simply wanted to emulate the experience that some games I love offered. In them, the player has to actively remember the location of the levels, or even, in extreme cases (I remember doing that with "Eye of the beholder") write maps on paper!

Other than that, thanks for your suggestion! I can try to add such functionality in the future, in case I find enough time and I discover it's a good addition.

I usually dont have issues with remembering locations in my mind. but the many portals make it really not easy.
having me run in many loops, jsut running around searching for that one missing coin or that one door that I now have jsut enough coins for.

or jsut run around forever to find ANY changes that may or may not have been caused by that lever yards away.
cause you basically have zero idea what a lever does, what it changes (and worse) where.

so lots of running around to find things or changes in the environment.

I will play it till the end, no idea how long it will take me though (have like 15 of 25 or so coins.
jsut enough for the next area i think

just found the treasure  but we are far from done!
I will find those remaining coins!

What you say about levers is very relevant to me, and I already thought on it. For that reason, all levers perform changes on the same room (except one of them, which affects a close room). However, it is possible that such change gets unnoticed sometimes.  A solution could be to add some kind of visual effect that alerts the player about what changed. I can try to work on that when I find some time.

By the way, I seem to have found my way out of bounds.
you know, there is one room where there is a portal in the bottom left.
you can enter fro  the left, meeeting the portal directly.
or come from the top right, falling down, standing in a nook on the right, wait for a platform in the middle to tak you up and float over spikes so you can float down on the left into the portal.

well, took the spike route but while falling down on the left, i stayed as right as possible, so I would not touch the portal but fall right past it.

next rooms were all empty and brown background, so I assume those are the standard "void" of the game, where you shouldnt be :-)

and of course after falling through like 3-4 such rooms, game froze since I likely reached the game world's real edge
