Abyss released!


Abyss was released yesterday, after months of spending some of my free time working on it. It's just another HTML browser game, an exploration-focused platformer, in the style of some classic games I like, where the player needs to pay attention and use their memory in order to progress.

Some features:

  • Explore the ruins of a forgotten civilization in an underwater cave.
  • Very simple mobile friendly controls: just go left and right (you cannot jump!)
  • 150+ rooms full of traps to explore.
  • Find the legendary Ruby and come back to the surface. Or collect all golden coins to find another even more valuable treasure...

This game was written in Typescript using the wonderful framework Phaser. All assets, sounds and music were created by me using open source and free software. You can also check the source code on my Github page: https://github.com/mochilor/abyss-game . I will add fixes when needed.
